ABOUT THE COVER:
The cover art is modeled after Mulberry Farm in Purcellville,
Virginia, as featured in American Log Homes by Arthur Thiede and Cindy Teipner
(Rodale Press 1986).
This log and stone home typifies rural homes of its vintage in the
utilization of logs and stones from the land upon which it was built.
The add on stone section was probably built to accomodate a growing family.
Cover artist John C. Dean has changed the setting and added a few features to make the
home appear even more inviting.

72 We don't need no steenking 2nd Amendment - By John Silveira
Duffy, MacDougal, and Silveira are at it again. This time they discuss our right to keep
and bear arms. MacDougal's argument, sure to upset gun control advocates, is that even
without the "protection" of the 2nd Amendment our right to arms is inalienable.
